REPURCHASE OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

The following announcement replaces announcement 3862G released at 14.42 on 5^th June 2013:

The purchase price should have read 26.73 pence per share, not the 27.63 pence per share as announced.

A complete revised announcement is below.

 JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 610,000 Subscription Shares for cancellation at 26.73 pence per share. Following the transaction the number of Subscription Shares in issue is 7,922,998.

The Company also has a total of 106,169,697 Ordinary shares in issue.

The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury. Any shares held in Treasury would only be re-issued at a premium to net asset value.
