JPMORGAN ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

Subscription Shares EXPIRY  

Further to the announcement made on 1st April 2014, the Board of JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc (the 'Company') announces that the trustee appointed under the terms of the Subscription Shares has been unable to exercise the outstanding Subscription Share Rights. The Subscription Share Rights in respect of the remaining 7,233,546 Subscription Shares therefore lapsed on 14th April 2014.

The Company's listing of the Subscription Shares has been suspended following the passing of the Final Exercise Date. The listing of the Subscription Shares will be cancelled on 1st May 2014.
