JPMORGAN ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

In conformity with the Transparency Directive we would like to notify the market of the following:           

As at 30 April 2014, JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc's capital consists of 95,546,993Ordinary 25 pence shares, carrying one vote each and 7,233,546 Deferred Shares (previously Subscription shares) with no voting rights.

Therefore, as at 30 April 2014, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc is 95,546,993

The above figure (95,546,993) may be used by Ordinary shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Following the expiry of the Company's Subscription shares on 31st March 2014, they were re-designated as Deferred shares on 14th April 2014 and will be cancelled on 1st May 2014.
