EXERCISE OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 20 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a certificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue following this notification are 77,867,921 Ordinary shares and 12,730,487 Subscription shares.
