JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust plc hereby gives notification that Miss Kathryn Matthews, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed an independent non-executive Director of BT Investment Management Limited ('BTIM') with effect from 1 December 2016. Miss Matthews will also serve as a member of BTIM Board's Remuneration & Nominations Committee. BTIM is a global asset management business, incorporated and registered in Australia, and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
