Directorate Change

The Board of JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Humphrey van der Klugt as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2008.

Mr van der Klugt is a Chartered Accountant and was previously a director of Schroder Investment Management Limited. In a 22 year career at Schroders, he was a member of the group investment and asset allocation committees and as a UK equity portfolio manager, had direct responsibility for portfolios totalling £3.5 billion, including the Schroder UK Equity and Schroder Income Funds. 

He is currently a director of Murray Income Trust PLC, BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc and Fidelity European Values PLC. 

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R (2) to (6).
