JPMORGAN CLAVERHOUSE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

The Board of JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Tufnell as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st October 2013.

Mrs Tufnell co-founded Ruffer LLP, a privately-owned investment management firm, in 1994. She is an independent non-executive director of The Diverse Income Trust Plc and of TR European Growth Trust PLC. She was previously the investment manager for the NatWest pension fund exposure to UK small companies at County NatWest and worked at Rathbones as a research analyst.

No further information is to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules for Mrs Tufnell.
