First quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a first quarterly interim dividend of 2.30
pence per share for the year ending 31st December 2002 will be paid on 31st May
2002 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 10th May 2002

For the year ending 31st December 2002 it is the Directors' intention to pay
three quarterly dividends of 2.30 pence per share and at least maintain the
fourth quarterly dividend of 2.50 pence per share.
