Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 8.00 pence per share for the year ended 31st December 2016 will be paid on 3rd March 2017 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 10th February 2017. The ex-dividend date will be 9th February 2017.

This payment will bring the total dividend for the year ended 31st December 2016 to 23.00 pence (2015: 21.50 pence), an increase of 7% over the previous year, thereby continuing the Company's record of increasing the total dividend each year since 1972.
