Special dividend

Following the successful outcome of the case brought by The Company and the Association of Investment Companies and the subsequent recovery of VAT and interest thereon, the Directors are pleased to declare that a special dividend of 3.60 pence per share will be paid on 2nd March 2009 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 13th February 2009.

On 2nd March 2009, shareholders will therefore receive two dividend payments in respect of the fourth quarterly interim dividend for the year ended 31st December 2008 of 5.90 pence per share and the special dividend of 3.60 pence per share.
