Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 10.25 pence per share for the year ended 31st December 2019 will be paid on 2nd March 2020 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 7th February 2020. The ex-dividend date will be 6th February 2020. This payment will bring the total dividend for the year ended 31st December 2019 to 29.00 pence (2018: 27.50 pence), an increase of 5.4% over the previous year.

This declaration continues the Company's record of increasing the total dividend each year since 1972 and the growth of the total dividend for the 47th successive year.
