Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The Directors have declared that a fourth quarterly interim dividend of 9.5 pence per share for the year ended 31st December 2021 will be paid on 4^th March 2022 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 4^th February 2022. The ex-dividend date will be 3^rd February 2022. This payment will bring the total dividend for the year ended 31^st December 2021 to 30.5 pence (2020: 29.5 pence), an increase of 3.4% over the previous year.

This declaration continues the Company's record of increasing the total dividend each year since 1972 and the growth of the total dividend for the 49th successive year.
