               JPMORGAN FLEMING CLAVERHOUSE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC


This announcement replaces that which was released on 12th November 2003, under
RNS number 0096S.  The previous announcement stated that 85,000 ordinary shares
were purchased on 11th October 2003.  The correct date is 11th November 2003. 
All other details remain the same.





                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION





JPMorgan Fleming Claverhouse Investment Trust plc announces that on the 11th
November 2003 in the market they purchased for cancellation 85,000 ordinary
shares at 323p per share representing 0.11% of the ordinary shares in issue.



The current repurchase authority for 11,330,784 shares was approved by
shareholders on 25th April 2003. To date 1,000,500 shares have been repurchased
under this authority.



The remaining shares in issue following this repurchase total 74,588,458.
