     REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

The  Fleming  Claverhouse Investment Trust plc  announces
that  today in the market they purchased for cancellation
25,000  ordinary shares at 430.0p per share  representing
0.04% of the ordinary shares in issue.

The  number  of  shares repurchased to  date  now  totals
45,000 representing 0.07% of the ordinary shares in issue
at the time of commencement of the repurchase programme.

The remaining shares in issue following this purchase  is
62,719,590
