Transaction in Own Shares-Amd

The following replaces the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on
5th May 2006 at 16:59 under RNS Number 5541C.

The shares for cancellation were 32,000 at 518.50 pence, representing 0.05% of
the ordinary shares in issue and not 45,000 at 517.50, representing 0.07% of the
ordinary shares in issue, as previously stated.  In addition, the total shares
repurchased since 27th April 2006 are 195,000 ordinary shares with 62,746,135
ordinary shares remaining in issue and not 163,000 ordinary shares repurchased
with 62,778,135 remaining in issue. All other information remains the same.

                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

JPMorgan Fleming Claverhouse Investment Trust plc announces that today in the
market they purchased for cancellation 32,000 ordinary shares at 518.50 pence
per share representing 0.05% of the ordinary shares in issue.

The current repurchase authority for 9,434,876 shares was approved by
shareholders on 27th April 2006.  To date 195,000 shares have been repurchased
under this authority.

The remaining shares in issue following this repurchase total 62,746,135.
