The following amendment has been made to the Treasury Stock announcement released on 1st August 2019 at 17.23 under RNS No 6443H.

The price of the shares repurchased into Treasury was 714.40 pence per share, not 714.00 pence per share.

On 01 August 2019, JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 15,000 ordinary shares at 714.40 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 378,772 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 56,491,881.
