               JPMORGAN FLEMING CLAVERHOUSE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION


JPMorgan Fleming Claverhouse Investment Trust plc announces that today in the
market it purchased for cancellation 22,000 ordinary shares at 502.15 pence per
share representing 0.04% of the ordinary shares in issue.

The current repurchase authority for 9,434,876 shares was approved by
shareholders on 27th April 2006.  To date 1,139,191 shares have been repurchased
under this authority.

The remaining shares in issue following this repurchase total 61,801,944.
