Transaction in Own Shares

The following replaces the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on
11th October 2006 at 17:19 under RNS Number 3426K.

The shares for cancellation were 50,000 at 518 pence and not 50,000 at 520
pence, as previously stated. All other information remains the same. Please see
below for the revised announcement.

               JPMORGAN FLEMING CLAVERHOUSE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION


JPMorgan Fleming Claverhouse Investment Trust plc announces that today in the
market they purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary shares at 518 pence per
share representing 0.08 % of the ordinary shares in issue.

The current repurchase authority for 9,434,876 shares was approved by
shareholders on 27th April 2006.  To date 1,418,090 shares have been repurchased
under this authority.

The remaining shares in issue following this repurchase total 61,523,045.
