                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION


JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc yesterday purchased 25,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at 527.0 pence per share.


Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 59,210,451.
