CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 546 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a certificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 121,283,310 Ordinary shares and 10,195,528 Subscription shares.
