CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 5,054 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 119,853,138 Ordinary shares and 10,170,970 Subscription shares.
