CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 678 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 119,353,816 Ordinary shares and 10,170,292 Subscription shares.
