CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 12,717 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 120,291,012 Ordinary shares and 10,179,584 Subscription shares.
