CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 16,952 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,779,105 Ordinary shares and 17,414,420 Subscription shares.
