CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 13,256 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 111,363,217 Ordinary shares and   21,000,308 Subscription shares.
