CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 244,852 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,286,291 Ordinary shares and   18,077,234 Subscription shares.
