CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 58,486 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,459,720 Ordinary shares and 17,833,805 Subscription shares.
