CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 226 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,762,153 Ordinary shares and 17,431,372 Subscription shares.
