CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 2,145 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by four uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 119,309,129 Ordinary shares and 10,158,274 Subscription shares.
