CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 61,685 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 119,153,656 Ordinary shares and 10,093,747 Subscription shares.
