CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 261 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 119,143,917 Ordinary shares and 10,093,486 Subscription shares.
