ANNOUNCEMENT OF SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Special Dividend
In accordance with the terms of the Company's participation in the
reconstruction of F&C Emerging Markets Investment Trust and to avoid any income
dilution for existing shareholders, the Directors have declared that a special
dividend of 0.65 pence per Ordinary share will be paid on 6th January 2006 to
shareholders on the register at the close of business on 9th December 2005.
