CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 8,129 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,313,060 Ordinary shares and   18,050,465 Subscription shares.
