CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 164,738 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders. 

The shares in issue following this notification are 110,529,279 Ordinary shares and   21,834,246 Subscription shares.
