CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 291 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a certificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,348,668 Ordinary shares and   18,014,857 Subscription shares.
