CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 2,209 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,350,877 Ordinary shares and   18,012,648 Subscription shares.
