CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 1,238 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,365,583 Ordinary shares and   17,997,942 Subscription shares.
