CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 32,047 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,383,034 Ordinary shares and 17,910,491 Subscription shares.
