JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Monday 31 December 2013, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 10,000 Ordinary shares at 545.50 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 2,946,122 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 119,259,129. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
