JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 10 October 2014, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 48,709 Ordinary shares at 571.05 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 3,675,718 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 128,687,807. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
