The Board of JPMorgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announce that Mr
Michael Hart has retired as a non-executive Director of the Board with effect
from 12th July 2006.  The Board sincerely thanks Mr Hart for his valuable
contributions during his time on the Board.
