We would like to notify the market of the following:

The share capital of JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc (the 'Company') consists of 43,508,739 Ordinary 25 pence shares.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company as at 31^st March 2011 is 43,508,739.

The above figure (43,508,739) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
