                                 TREASURY STOCK


JPMorgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc has today purchased into
treasury 40,000 ordinary shares at 671.5.0 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 52,781,517
including 2,552,204 shares held in treasury at a weighted average discount of
11.98%.
