                           PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES



The following replaces the Purchase of own securities announcement released
yesterday at 17:15 under RNS Number 8232F. The total number of shares held by
the Company in treasury is 1,528,319.  Please see below for the revised text.



JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announces that on
Thursday 6th July 2006 it purchased in the market, to hold in treasury, 62,066
ordinary shares at 597.13 pence per share.


Following this repurchase the Company now holds a total of 1,528,319 shares in
treasury at an average size-weighted discount of 11.67%.


The number of shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is
51,253,198.
