                                 TREASURY STOCK


On 25th April JPMorgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc purchased into
treasury 80,000 ordinary shares at 693.6 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 51,293,198
including 2,659,875 shares held in treasury at a weighted average discount of
13.45%.
