                      SALE OF OWN SECURITIES FROM TREASURY





JPMorgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announces that on Thursday
29th March 2007 it sold from treasury 150,000 ordinary shares at 808 pence per
share.



Following this sale the Company now holds a total of 1,431,319 shares in
treasury at an average size-weighted discount of 12.1%.



The number of shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is
51,350,198.
