JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC ("the Company")

DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Following the Company's Annual General Meeting which was held yesterday, the Board announces that John Rennocks retired as non-executive director of the Company. Jonathan Carey has assumed the role of Chairman of the Audit & Management Engagement Committee from him and Nigel Wightman has become the Senior Independent Director.

His fellow directors thank Mr Rennocks for his extensive contribution to the Board during his tenure since 2001 and wish him all the best for the future.
