REPLACEMENT STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

This announcement is made in replacement of 4916E released at 17.13 on 10 May 2013.  The original announcement showed the incorrect amount of ordinary shares in Treasury following the transaction and the incorrect amount of remaining shares in issue less the total number of shares held in treasury following the transaction.

The full revised announcement is below.

JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc purchased 27,386 ordinary shares into Treasury at 886.67 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 2,496,904 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 23,677,794.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
