                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION





JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc has today purchased 46,500 ordinary
shares for cancellation at 592.32 pence per share.



Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 27,958,448.
