LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc today purchased 7,237 ordinary shares into Treasury at 762.77 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 24,497,130.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
